South Windsor will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a special community event on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Join us at Rotary Field behind the South Windsor Community Center from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for an evening of patriotic songs, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, old-fashioned games, cricket demonstrations by local teams, and family-friendly fun.

This free event honors the date the Connecticut Courant printed the full Declaration of Independence on July 15, 1776.
