Post Road Stages was founded in 1912 and brought pupils to South Windsor's tiny schoolhouses long before this much honored family business became the familiar fleet of comfortable coaches we recognize today. Along the way, the Collins and Snow families were entwined with the town's history in many ways.
Bring a lawn chair and learn about the history of the family, the business, and the neighborhood. Refreshments will follow. Check our Facebook page, in case of rain. This program is part of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the theme of telling local stories.
